Privacy policy

Effective October 25, 2026.

Reading the site

Scented Deals does not currently load advertising or analytics scripts, collect newsletter signups, or set attribution cookies. Our pages use system fonts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information such as IP addresses, request times and browser headers to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Retailer links

Following a retailer link takes you to a separate website governed by that retailer’s policies. Retailers may receive our site’s origin as a referrer. Ordinary retailer links do not use affiliate IDs supplied by this publication.

Content management & contact

The owner’s CMS uses GitHub authentication. GitHub and the CMS provider process the information needed for that login. Visitors do not need an account to read the publication. Our contact details are listed on the About page. Do not include personal purchase details in a correction report.

Future changes

Before enabling newsletter collection, tracking or third-party ads, we will update this policy to describe the providers, purposes and applicable choices. Optional tracking must remain disabled until those requirements are in place.

For privacy questions, use the contact information on our About page without posting sensitive information.
